It all started in 2009 when founders Marcus and Elena Garfield had a simple dream: bring the soul of wood-fired, fresh-ingredient pizza to the Mid Rivers community. After years of refining recipes in their home kitchen and competing in regional pizza competitions, they opened the first Pizza Ranch location on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
From day one, the philosophy was simple — source local when possible, stretch every dough by hand, and treat every customer like a neighbor dropping by for dinner. That spirit still shapes everything we do, from the toppings we choose to the way our team greets you at the door.
Today, Pizza Ranch is a staple of the Cottleville community. We've grown our menu, expanded our catering program, and welcomed thousands of regulars — but we've never lost sight of what made us special from the start: food made with honesty and heart.

Grand Opening
Marcus and Elena Garfield open the first Pizza Ranch at 4732 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. The first night sells out — they make 40 pizzas and run out of dough by 7 PM.
Expanding the Menu
We introduce our legendary Ranch Signature series — 6 chef-designed specialty pizzas that remain fan favorites to this day. Calzones and pasta join the lineup.
Catering Program Launched
After countless requests from local businesses and schools, we officially launch our catering program. In the first year we cater over 200 events across St. Charles County.
Kitchen Renovation
We upgrade to a larger stone-deck oven imported from Naples, Italy, unlocking the authentic char and crust texture our customers love. Dine-in seating expands to 60 guests.
Community Support During COVID-19
Despite the challenges, Pizza Ranch pivots to curbside pickup and delivery. We donate over 500 meals to frontline workers at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital.
Online Ordering & App
We launch pizzasranchs.top with full online ordering, making it easier than ever to get your favorite pizza delivered or ready for curbside pickup.
50,000 Pizzas Milestone
Pizza Ranch celebrates its 50,000th pizza made since opening. We host a community block party with free slices, live music, and a thank-you to every loyal customer.
